2.2 What is your attitude toward the different varieties of the English Language?
2.3 In what ways do you think the concept of world Englishes affect your notion (what you think of) of your English language skills.
2.4 In what ways do you think World Englishes could result to miscommunications. Give examples.

Hand-outs are provided by Prof. Nakano of Waseda University. I suggest that you print them out and start reading. The powerpoint material is an excellent visual material that helps you better understand Kahru's Inner and outer circles.
The video lecture that accompanies these hand-outs is available at the OIC. Naoko Haraguchi is now working on your IDs and passwords- so please be patient.

Welcome to World Englishes and Miscommunications 2 Course. This is a blended learning course, which means, that we will be having face-to-face lectures and online sessions. This course is being offered in collaboration with Waseda University in Japan and several other participating universities from different countries.
